Pyrography, also known as woodburning, is the art of decorating wood or other natural materials using a heated tool to burn designs onto the surface. Whittling is the traditional art of carving shapes, figures, or designs out of wood using a simple knife. Rooted in craftsmanship and patience, whittling transforms raw pieces of wood into beautiful, handmade creations—ranging from small figurines and animals to practical objects like spoons and walking sticks. The process is calming and meditative, connecting the maker to the natural material as each cut reveals the shape within. We believe learning should be accessible, fun, and packed with value! For a limited time, our introductory workshops will offer an extra hour for free—you pay for a 2-hour session but enjoy 3 hours of hands-on learning!
