Pyrography, also known as woodburning, is the art of decorating wood or other natural materials using a heated tool to burn designs onto the surface. Whittling is the traditional art of carving shapes, figures, or designs out of wood using a simple knife. Rooted in craftsmanship and patience, whittling transforms raw pieces of wood into beautiful, handmade creations—ranging from small figurines and animals to practical objects like spoons and walking sticks.
